Ukrainian Archive Photos[edit]

Thanks for helping out with the Wikimedia Kotsur image. Just a side-note on my experience publishing archived photos from Ukraine and Russia. My publishers have never been concerned about the copyright on photos from the archives. These are university publishers, so I imagine they'd be fairly stringent with such issues. I received a bit more information about the photo from Solodar (Kotsur's biographer). He says the copies of the photo (not the original itself, which is lost) are held by Kotsur's relatives. However, he says the photo has been duplicated many times and posting it on Wikipedia will not be a problem. What license should it go under? UnknownVolin (talk) 06:22, 25 July 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
